His Hands & Feet
At our church, we are committed to embodying the love and mission of Jesus by being His hands and feet in everything we do. Our outreach efforts are rooted in the belief that faith is not confined to the walls of the church but is meant to be lived out in the community and beyond. Just as it is written in James 2:17, “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead,” we strive to activate our faith through tangible acts of service, support, and love for those in need. We take to heart Matthew 25:40, where Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” This mission guides us as we reach out to serve our neighbors, uplift the broken, and be a light in dark places, demonstrating that we are called to be the living embodiment of Christ’s compassion and hope.

Isaiah 117
Abundant Life Church is sponsoring Isaiah 117 House as they work in Dallas County “changing the way foster care begins“. Their Mission is to reduce trauma for children awaiting placement, lighten the load for child welfare services, and ease the transition for foster families in Dallas County all while SHARING THE LOVE OF CHRIST! Every child who comes through their doors receives a bath/shower, their favorite food, tons of love and their very own bag packed full of brand NEW items such as clothing, toiletries, shoes, toys, and blankets to take to their foster home.

Homeless Ministry
Our church is blessed to be part of a dedicated homeless ministry outreach in Grand Prairie, focused on addressing both immediate needs and long-term solutions for the homeless in our community. As part of this mission, we prepare around 100 nutritious meals each month and distribute them directly to individuals and families in need. This effort is part of a larger initiative that serves meals daily to ensure no one goes hungry. Beyond providing food, this ministry works collaboratively with local organizations to help individuals transition from the streets into shelters and ultimately secure stable employment. With each meal and conversation, we seek to share Christ’s love and offer hope, embodying the call of Isaiah 58:7: “Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter?” Our commitment is to be a consistent support and advocate for those striving to rebuild their lives.

We sponsor 40 students in 4 local schools to provide food every weekend.

Embrace Grace
Women all over the nation are finding out they are pregnant and they feel completely alone. They look to abortion as the answer because of fear of the unknown. Fear can feel overwhelming and many women feel pressure to make a quick decision. They don’t know where to turn and they think their life and dreams are over.
Abundant Life wants to help ensure that no single mom walks alone. We are working together with a national ministry to pool resources to help her be brave and feel empowered to make a life decision.

Grief Share
The Abundant Life GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, attendees discover what to expect in the days following grief and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, participants learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

Health Fair
Our annual Health Fair is a cornerstone event at our church, dedicated to promoting health and wellness within the community. Sponsored by esteemed medical organizations such as Parkland Health and Methodist Health Systems, this event brings together dozens of health and wellness companies, all united in service to the community. Attendees have access to vital services, including immunizations, health screenings, and a range of educational resources designed to empower individuals with knowledge for healthier living. By partnering with top medical groups and wellness experts, we strive to create a space where everyone can take proactive steps towards their well-being, reflecting our mission to care for both body and soul.

Blood Drives
At Abundant Life, we are honored to partner with Carter BloodCare to host blood drives throughout the year. These events are an essential part of our mission to serve the community in tangible and impactful ways. By donating blood, we provide life-saving support to hospitals and patients in need, embodying Christ’s call to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). Each blood drive offers a unique opportunity for our members and community to come together, share hope, and make a meaningful difference. We invite everyone to join us in this vital act of service, knowing that each contribution helps save lives and strengthens the bonds of compassion and care in our community.

World Missions
Abundant Life takes the Great Commission to heart, embracing Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Our commitment to world missions is demonstrated through the financial and prayerful support of 37 dedicated missionaries working in 21 different countries across the globe. These mission partners are on the front lines, sharing the gospel, planting churches, providing humanitarian aid, and transforming communities with the hope of Christ. By investing in their work, we play a part in spreading God’s love far beyond our local reach, fulfilling our call to impact the world for His kingdom. Our passion for missions fuels our collective purpose to see every nation, tribe, and tongue hear the life-changing message of Jesus.
